New Music at the Bridge

The University of Virginia New Music Ensemble and guests present a free concert at The Bridge on Thursday, November 3rd at 8pm.

The Composer/Performer Collaboration Workshop (CPCW), directed by Shawn Earle and the UVA New Music Ensemble, directed by I-Jen Fang, will join together to present a concert at the Bridge PAI on Thursday, November 3rd at 8pm. There will be five world premieres composed by students from the CPCW. The New Music Ensemble will also perform works by Thomas Albert, Cornelius Cardew, Pauline Oliveros, and more. The concert is free and open to the public. Donations to the Bridge PAI at the door is appreciated. The members of the CPCW are Calder Hannan, Mark Panetti, Jackson Patton-Smith, and Amber Zhang. Current members of the New Music Ensemble include Jon Bellona, Alexander Christie, Greg Howard, Christopher Luna, Jackson Patton-Smith, Connor Reilly, Maxwell Tfirn, and Tianyu Zhang.
