Jazz Small Groups
The McIntire Department of Music presents Jazz Small Groups on Sunday, November 20th at 7:00pm in Old Cabell Hall.
Directed by renowned UVA music faculty members Pete Spaar, Jeff Decker and Mike Rosensky, the Jazz Small Groups range in size from quartets to octets and vary in skill-level from beginner-intermediate to advanced. Repertoire is chosen from a diverse range of jazz styles by such greats as Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Wayne Shorter, Lee Morgan, Antonio Carlos Jobim, among many others, as well as origninal compositions by both faculty and students.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda (map). Parking is available in the Central Grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Rd, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner. Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.
