Katie Kolo Distinguished Major French Horn Recital

Katie Kolo presents her Distinguished Major French Horn Recital on Saturday, February 8th at 2:00pm in Old Cabell Hall. Katie is a fourth year Music Major and part of the Performance Concetration as well as a History Major. At UVA, she plays with the Wind Ensemble, the Charlottesville Symphony Orchestra, in chamber groups, and studies under Katy Ambrose. Katie is also a section leader in the Cavalier Marching Band and part of the Arts Grounds Guides.  The recital will feature the music of Cherubini, Buyanovsky, Wilder, and Brahms.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda. Parking is available in the central grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Rd, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner.  Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.

This recital is supported by the Charles S. Roberts Scholarship Fund. Established in 2004 by the generosity of Mr. Alan Y. Roberts ('64) and Mrs. Sally G. Roberts, the Charles S. Roberts Scholarship Fund underwrites the private lessons and recital costs for undergraduate music majors giving a recital in their fourth year as part of a distinguished major program in music.
