Virginia National Association of Teachers of Singing

This past weekend at James Madison University, 589 singers competed in the Virginia National Association of Teachers of Singing state level competition. A large contingent of students from Pamela Beasley's studio competed, several in both Classical and Musical Theater categories. Student participants from her studio included: Marcha Kiatrungrit, Josie Miller, Payton Moledor, Jack Gereski, Zoe Gray, Madison Karten, Wesley Diener, Mimi Robinson, Lindsay Irwin and recent grad, Rachel Mink. These students represented UVA well at this statewide conference. Additionally, Wesley Diener was chosen to perform in a Master Class led by baritone, Rod Gilfry.
Several of these students placed in their categories and many received Honors recognition. All the students below have qualified to compete at the Mid-Atlantic Regional NATS event.
