Lindsay Reigel, a fourth year Music and Spanish major at the University of Virginia, will perform a Distinguished Major Recital in voice titled "Learning to Believe: Songs of Love and Discovery" on Saturday, March 21st, 2009 at 3:30pm in Old Cabell Hall Auditorium. Ms. Reigel will perform a selection of arias and art songs by Mozart, Debussy, Bernstein, and others. The concert will feature the accompaniment of pianist Karen W. Dalton and the vocal talents of soprano Melanie Leinbach and baritone Lawson Anderson. A reception will follow the event. Admission is free.

This recital is supported by the Charles S. Roberts Scholarship Fund. Established in 2004 by the generosity of Mr. Alan Y. Roberts ('64) and Mrs. Sally G. Roberts, the Charles S. Roberts Scholarship Fund underwrites the private lessons and recital costs for undergraduate music majors giving a recital in their fourth year as part of a distinguished major program in music.
