Dr. Cory Mixdorf, assistant professor of trombone at Georgia State University, will present a brief lecture about performing vocal music on trombone. UVA students Sarah Peterson and David Moore will be coached on this masterclass. The recital by Dr. Mixdorf will include works by Ropartz, Brahms, Salzedo, Dvorak and Philips. Mixdorf will be accompanied by David Norfrey.
