  • Scott Stadium
    Carr's Hill for Open Rehearsal
  • Game Time TBD
Band DayThe Cavalier Marching Band will be joined by an honor band of over 600 high school students on Saturday, November 10 for a blow out halftime performance. In honor of Veterans Day the students attending Band Day will perform patriotic songs with the Cavalier Marching Band at the halftime show of the UVA/Miami football game in Scott Stadium.

High School students from Virginia and surrounding states are nominated by their high school band directors. The Cavalier Marching Band provides Band Day students with transportation throughout the day from rehearsal to the game, refreshments, entrance into the game and hopefully an experience of a lifetime.

"Being a part of band day really gave me a taste of what the Cavalier Marching Band is all about. The day was full of excitement, fun, and crazy football fans, and it was one of the biggest reasons why I decided to join in college!"
- Emily Bixel, 3rd Year Member of the Cavalier Marching Band and Band Day Alum

Feel free to attend the open rehearsal before the game at Carr's Hill Field to see the group prepare and perform. The exact time will be determined when the game time is announced.
