Charlottesville Symphony Plans Gala to Mark Director's 10th Anniversary

"The Firebird Gala has been scheduled for Sept. 10 at the Virginia Guesthouse Hotel and Conference Center at 2017 Ivy Road. The evening, presented by the Charlottesville Symphony Society, is expected to begin with a patron reception at 5 p.m. and include cocktails, dinner, a silent auction and performances of selections from Igor Stravinsky's ballet "The Firebird" by members of the Charlottesville Symphony and the Charlottesville Ballet.
Individual tickets for the black tie-optional gala are $500 for premium gala tickets and$350 for general regular tickets. Young patrons, defined as those ages 49 and younger, can get in for $300. There also are a variety of patron and sponsor packages."
