Luke Dahl Attends the RITMO International Motion Capture Workshop

In November Luke Dahl attended the RITMO International Motion Capture Workshop in Oslo Norway.

The workshop was hosted by The RITMO Centre for Interdisciplinary Studies in Rhythm, Time, and Motion, a new interdisciplinary project involving researchers in music, psychology, and robotics. There were a number of presentations on the relationship between movement and music and sound. Dr Dahl presented a software framework, called Modosc, for processing motion capture data in real-time in order to enable movement-based interaction. Modosc was developed by Dr Dahl and Dr Federico Visi, a music researcher based in Hamburg Germany.

Modosc, which can be downloaded here, was developed by Dr Dahl and Dr Federico Visi, a music researcher based in Germany.
