SPICMACAY at UVA is excited to announce Indian Classical Night 2022 on Saturday, April 30th! Our annual Indian Classical Night is a showcase and celebration of Indian classical music and dance, presented by artists at UVA, to UVA and the general Charlottesville community. The event is open to the public and is free of cost. ICN was presented annually before the pandemic (from 2014 to 2019), and we are excited to be bringing it back this year!

The event will feature instrumental, dance, and vocal genres of Indian classical music. It will provide the audience with a unique opportunity to experience, among other styles, Carnatic and Hindustani (vocal), Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi (dance) and flute and sitar (instrumental) performances by undergraduate and graduate students, faculty, and Charlottesville community members.
