Senior Regional Orchestra Audition Prep Day for High School String Players 2026

Calling all high school string players! On Sunday, August 30, 2026 (1-4pm), the UVA String Faculty will host a Senior Regional Orchestra Audition Prep Day at Old Cabell Hall. This free event will feature sectionals for each instrument covering the scales and excerpts required while also giving tips on how to audition more successfully. The day will culminate in a blind mock audition. Each participant will be provided with feedback to help prepare and practice.
