UVA Flute Ensemble & Chamber Flute Ensemble Spring Recital

Celebrate the beauty and versatility of the flute as the University of Virginia Department of Music presents the UVA Flute Ensemble & Chamber Flute Ensemble Spring Recital on Sunday, April 18, 2027, at 1:00 p.m. in the Rotunda Dome Room. This concert is free and open to the public.

Directed by Kelly Sulick, the UVA Flute Ensemble and Chamber Flute Ensemble bring together talented student flutists in performances that showcase the expressive range and remarkable colors of the flute family. From sparkling piccolo passages to the rich sonorities of alto and bass flutes, the ensembles perform an engaging repertoire that spans classical favorites, contemporary works, and music inspired by traditions from around the world.

Presented in the intimate setting of the Rotunda Dome Room, the recital offers audiences a unique opportunity to experience chamber music in one of the University's most iconic architectural spaces.
