SPICMACAY at UVA is excited to host our annual Fall Concert on October 14th featuring world-renowned violinist Delhi P. Sunderrajan and mridangist Neyveli R. Narayanan! The event, open to the public and free of cost, seeks to give the music lovers of the UVA and Charlottesville community a cost-free opportunity to enjoy Indian classical music from some of the top Carnatic musicians in the world. The artists will also be accompanied by some of their senior disciples.

About the artists:
Delhi P. Sunder Rajan is the disciple of “Sangeethabhushanam” Pudukkottai Shri V. Janakiraman, carrying the legacy of Flute legend Brahmashri Sarabha Sastrigal. With over four decades of global performances, he has won prestigious awards like Dwaram Venkataswamy Naidu and Sangeetha Kala Sagaram. Sunder Rajan is one of the most sought-after violinists in Carnatic music. 
  
Neyveli R. Narayanan is the disciple of Sri S.K Ganesa Pillai and “PadmaVibhushan” Umayalpuram Sri. K Sivaraman. He is a Mridangam prodigy and an All-India Grade A artist, having shared the stage with Grammy Award winner Tabla Maestro Zakir Hussain and Violin maestros Sri Ganesh and Kumaresh. He has performed all around the world, ranging from India, the US, Europe, and Asia.
