University of Virginia Chamber Music Series
The University of Virginia McIntire Department of Music presents the fifth of six concerts in the UVA Chamber Music Series on Monday, March 28th, 2016 at 8:00 pm in Old Cabell Hall. The UVA Chamber Music Series brings an array of musicians to provide professional performances to the University and the central Virginia community. Directed by Kelly Sulick, the programs offer a wide range of works that are sure to entertain, educate and enthrall.

J.S. Bach - Partita No.1 in B Minor, BWV 1002 featuring I-Jen Fang, marimba
Béla Bartók - Adagio for Violin and Piano featuring Shelby Sender, piano
Jennifer Higdon - String Poetic featuring Shelby Sender, piano
Dubensky/Sender - Fugue for Nine Violins featuring 8 outstanding young violinists from UVA and the community
Edvard Grieg - Sonata No.2 in G Major, Op.13 featuring Shelby Sender, piano

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda. (map) Parking is available in the central grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Rd, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner. Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.
