The Early Music Ensemble will present a concert featuring music of seventeenth-century Germany on Monday, 7 December, 8:00 p.m., in the Old Cabell Hall auditorium. The program will include chamber music for strings by H. I. F. Biber and Johann Rosenmüller, choral music by Hans Leo Hassler, Andreas Hammerschmidt, and Heinrich Schütz, and the setting “Ach bleib bei uns” for chorus and strings by Johann Michael Bach, the uncle of Johann Sebastian.
