This Fall, see the Virginia Gentlemen perform for the 74th year at their annual Family Weekend Concert on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 8:00 PM in UVA’s Old Cabell Hall, located opposite the Rotunda (map). The Virginia Gentlemen represent some of the finest offerings of acappella music in Virginia. For decades, the “VGs” have wowed audiences with their musical talent, performance mastery, and classic style. Hailing from the University of Virginia, this small group represents both the future of ensemble music and the tradition of American Doo Wop. Songs in our repertoire range from classics by Frank Sinatra to modern hits by Adele, Yebba, and Mumford and Sons. Expect a handful of new songs, a few crowd favorites, and of course, blazers and bow ties. Parking is available in the Central Grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Road, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner.
Tickets are available online through the UVA Arts Box Office any remaining tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to the concert.
