Studies & Programs
The Department of Music at the University of Virginia is a vibrant hub of musical life in Charlottesville and the greater mid-Atlantic region. Activities center around three main focal points: Performance, Critical and Comparative Studies, and Composition and Computer Technologies. Students, Faculty, Staff, and guests contribute to the musical community via these avenues in varying degrees.
