Clarinet studio studentsThe Making Noise in the Library series presents The UVA Clarinet Studio on Friday, April 22nd at 3pm in the Music Library located in Old Cabell Hall on the historic Lawn of the University of Virginia.  This is free and open to the public (no tickets required).

The Making Noise in the Library series brings artists into the Music Library for free performances. Come support the UVA Clarinet studio as they share their achievements in a concert filled with dance music from around the world.  The UVA Clarinet studio is taught by Dr. Jiyeon Choi.

The program includes: Colombian Dances by Bedoya, Tico-Tico no Fubà by Abreu, Hungarian Dances by Brahms, Aragonaise by Bizet, and Overture to The Marriage of Figaro by Mozart. We may also hear from a few oboes!

clarinetsLight snacks will be provided and the event is free. Generously supported by a grant from the UVA Arts Council.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda (map). For parking information, visit: https://music.virginia.edu/directions-parking. The Music Library is located on the lower floors of Old Cabell Hall.
