The University of Virginia’s Black Voices Gospel Choir presents its fall concert on October 16, 2009 at 8:00pm, in Old Cabell Hall’s auditorium at the University of Virginia.

This concert falls on Parent’s Weekend, and is directed by Black Voices’ Vice President of Musical Development, Nureya Anthony. Featured during intermission will be a smaller ensemble gospel singing group, Vessel. Perfect Praise Dance Ministry will also be performing a dance to “Rain on Us” by Earnest Pugh in conjunction with Black Voices as they sing.

Parking for this event is available in the Central Grounds Parking Garage on Emmet Street for $0.70/hour.

Tickets are now on sale for $7. Tickets may be purchased the week of October 12-16 on the 2nd floor of Newcomb Hall between 10am and 3pm. They may also be purchased at the Arts Box Office, over the phone at (434) 924-3376, or online at www.artsboxoffice.virginia.edu.
