This closing concert of the Festival series features a focused presentation of classic repertoire, centering on a Beethoven Piano Sonata, performed by Benjamin Hochman, a Bach Violin Sonata, performed by Jennifer Koh, and ending with a Mozart Quartet.

Founded in 2000 by Charlottesville natives Raphael Bell (cello) and Timothy Summers (violin and viola), the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, September 8-22, 2013, invites world-class, professional musicians who give fresh reads on traditional classical works, as well as contemporary chamber works. The diversity of programming, musicians, and variety of instrumentation sets this Festival apart in Central Virginia, and provides a unique opportunity for chamber music lovers throughout the region.
