The superb musicians of the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival are known for their fresh, exciting performances. In this final concert of the series, pianist Judith Gordon, well-known for her premieres of works by living composers, performs two solo piano works by iconic American composers John Adams and John Cage. In Brahms's Piano Quartet, she is joined by violist Nokuthula Ngwenyama, and festival founders violinist Timothy Summers and cellist Raphael Bell.
