The University of Virginia Concert Band will be performing its annual spring concert in the ampitheatre on Grounds at the University of Virginia on April 27 at 6:30 pm. The band will be performing several numbers that have been favorites of band audiences for decades including Gustav Holst's Second Suite in F and selections from Bizet's opera Carmen. We will also be featuring UVa faculty trombone Nathan Dishman on Arthur Pryor's famous Blue Bells of Scotland. The concert should be a treat for all who attend. Bring a blanket, have a picnic, and spend the evening listening to some great music. The concert is free to all!
