Musical Commons, featuring Side Hustle
WTJU presents Side Hustle on Tuesday, October 22nd at 8pm at the WTJU studios at 2244 Ivy Road. This performance is part of the new Musical Commons series, a collaboration between WTJU and the UVA Music Department.
Side Hustle is a jam band with rock, jazz, and country influences. As the name suggests, the musicians have day jobs: as a lawyer, a chaplain, a couple of historians, and a musicologist.
This event is part of the WTJU Music Commons series with support provided by the Dunton Gift to the UVA Jazz program.

WTJU is located at 2244 Ivy Road in Charlottesville, VA, next to Vivace restaurant. Studios are exactly one mile west of UVA’s Rotunda. By car: Parking is available both in front of and behind the building. The parking spaces in the back are handicap accessible.By bus: WTJU is served by the Purple Line of the University Transit system, at the same stop as the U-Heights housing complex. By foot / bike: Albemarle County is building new sidewalks and bike lanes on Ivy Road to WTJU and beyond, with an expected completion in early fall 2019.
