Symposium: “Opera and Austerity”

An interdisciplinary symposium on operatic staging and film, exploring the theme of austerity as it emerges in this most spectacular and excessive of art forms. This event is held in cooperation with The Opera Quarterly as the third of its annual symposia on opera production.
