Passionate performances, outstanding international musicians, and superb programs account for the popularity of the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival. In this second concert of the series, Marie-Pierre Langlamet, renowned harpist of the Berlin Philharmonic, English clarinetist Matthew Hunt, and American flutist Demarre McGill join cellist Raphael Bell and members of the Orpheus Quartet in a delightful mixed program including French music, American minimalism and an unusual, anonymous, period arrangement of Mozart's Violin Sonata, K.378 for clarinet quartet.
