Department of Music

The UVA Department of Music invites the Charlottesville and University communities to the Tea Time Student Recitals on Thursday, December 5th, and Friday, December 6th, 2024 in Old Cabell Hall. Both recitals begin at 1:00 pm. Each recital is live-streamed on the UVA Music YouTube channel. Live-stream links will be released closer to the recital dates.

Further information on this event will be available on October 31st, 2024.

Talented UVA students present a varied menu of musical delights. Come, bring your friends, and enjoy the fruits of a semester's worth of musical training and practice. These events are free and open to the public.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA’s historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda (map). Parking is available in the central grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Rd, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner. Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.
