To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the Sept. 11 terrorist attack on the United States, Charlottesville’s First Presbyterian Church will host an ecumenical Service of Remembrance on Sunday, September 11 at 3:30 p.m. featuring the Mozart Requiem. Members of the Oratorio Society of Virginia will unite with the UVa University Singers and members of local choirs, under the direction of UVa faculty conductor Michael Slon. We hope that you will join us for what promises to be a beautiful, moving occasion.
The event is free and open to the public. Come early for a good seat. First Presbyterian Church is located at 500 Park Street, Charlottesville and parking is available at the church.
