John Warner co-authored the seminal book Green Chemistry: Theory and Practice, which first described the ’Twelve Principles of Green Chemistry.’ Dr. Warner is President, Chief Technology Officer, and Chairman of the Board of the Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry, he is editor of Green Chemistry Letters and Reviews, and associate editor of the journal Organic Preparations and Procedures International.
John D'earth, jazz trumpeter/composer directs the UVA Jazz Ensemble and has written a new five movement piece, Green Chemistry, inspired by the international Green Chemistry movement which will be premiered by the UVA Jazz Ensemble and special guests The Free Bridge Quintet.
