Jazz pianist Thomas Kehoe will present a set of trio recordings, virtually, for his Distinguished Major recital on Saturday, April 24th. Included in the set will be classic compositions by Herbie Hancock and Freddie Hubbard, as well as Thomas’ original compositions. The trio will be rounded out by fourth year jazz students Peter Wellman and Ethan Blaser on drums and acoustic bass.

Thomas is a fourth year from Richmond, VA majoring in music and computer science. He is very grateful to John D’earth for letting him join the jazz ensemble as an inexperienced first year and for guiding his jazz education throughout his time in the jazz ensemble and at UVA.
