In this experiential online masterclass, you will explore the often-overlooked issues impacting your ability to perform your best under pressure. This masterclass provides an expanded picture of performance enhancement that will cover concepts for improving your practicing, transforming limiting beliefs, building self-regulation skills, feeling safe while performing, and understanding the patterns that hold you back in your performance preparation. The masterclass will combine lecture, reflective exercises, and small group activities to help you create your own road map for performing your best when it matters most.

In this program you will learn how to:

  • Identify your learning style and use it to support optimal performance
  • Control music performance anxiety while performing under pressure
  • Create a pre-performance routine that supports your performance goals
  • Use spatial awareness for attuning to performance venues
  • Transform the beliefs that hold you back

Gary Jobe Ferguson is a mind-body performance coach, specializing in somatic psychology, performance coaching, mind-body medicine, and applied kinesiology. He is a former principal orchestral trumpet player and was a founding member of the Manhattan Brass Quintet. He has created a unique program entitled, Pathways to Performance Mastery (PTPM) to help musicians play their best when it matters most. Gary currently resides in Richmond, MA and offers online coaching sessions and group masterclasses.
