The Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival is partnering with Live Arts to present a special program in the Gibson (Downstage) Theater at Live Arts, on Saturday evening, September 14, 2013. Brooklyn Rider and Festival musicians join together for an evening of new works and improvisation that will carry us straight into the musical present, including music from Brooklyn Rider’s newly released album, “A Walking Fire.” Musicians also include Festival Co-Directors Raphael Bell (cello) and Timothy Summers (violin), violinist James Ehnes, and percussionist Matthew Gold. There will also be a cash bar and concessions.

Tickets are $12. General Admission. ON SALE AUGUST 17TH. Tickets can be purchased online here, or by phone or in person at the Live Arts Box Office, or at Live Arts on the night of the show (123 E. Water Street, Charlottesville, VA 22902; 434-977-4177).
