Olivia Bona
The McIntire Department of Music presents Olivia Bona in recital on Saturday, February 7th 2015 at 8pm in Old Cabell Hall. The recital, which consists of an oboe and piano trio is free and open to the public and is presented as part of the Distinguished Majors Program. The program will include works by Poulenc, Dring, Britten, Rachmaninoff, Strauss and Dvořák. Olivia will be joined by pianist John Mayhood and flutist Emily Seibert. The recital is a culmination of Olivia's work at UVa with her professor, Aaron Hill, over the past four years.
This recital is supported by the Charles S. Roberts Scholarship Fund. Established in 2004 by the generosity of Mr. Alan Y. Roberts ('64) and Mrs. Sally G. Roberts, the Charles S. Roberts Scholarship Fund underwrites the private lessons and recital costs for undergraduate music majors giving a recital in their fourth year as part of a distinguished major program in music.
Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic Lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda. Parking is available in at the Central Grounds Parking Garage, in the C1 parking lot, or in the lots off University Avenue at the Corner.
