Marcy Day is the Director of Promotions. Marcy leads marketing, communications, outreach, and event promotion for more than one hundred annual Department of Music events. Marcy oversees publicity, newsletters, web content, and departmental messaging.

Working collaboratively with UVA students, faculty, staff, and volunteers, Marcy has built strong connections across Grounds and within the Charlottesville community and continues to support outreach and student recruitment.

With 30 years in the role, the most rewarding aspect has been working with students and watching them develop their talents over their time at UVA.
