Performance Concentration Recital 2026
The University of Virginia Department of Music presents the Performance Concentration Showcase Recital, a free concert taking place on Saturday, March 21st at 3:30pm in Old Cabell Hall.
This exciting recital is part of UVA’s Performance Concentration and features student performers selected through a competitive audition process. The concentration is open to advanced 3rd and 4th year Music Majors who work closely with expert faculty in seminars designed to maximize each performer’s on-stage potential.
This year's performers include:
Lauren Kim, piano
Janelle Lawson, tenor
Taylor Ledbetter, flute
Elizabeth Mayhood, flute
The program will be available closer to the recital date.
Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA’s historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda. (map) Parking is available in the central grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Rd, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner. Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.
