The Department of Music’s Composition & Computer Technologies (CCT) program is pleased to present TechnoSonics, its annual showcase of innovative electronic and acoustic music, sound art, installation, and intermedia performance, on Tuesday, November 12, at 7:30 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall.

Now in its twenty-seventh year, TechnoSonics celebrates the creative work of the Department of Music's Composition & Computer Technologies program through an evening of original compositions and multimedia works by faculty, graduate students, and special guests. The program explores the intersection of music, technology, and the arts, featuring performances that range from immersive electronic soundscapes and live instrumental works to experimental audiovisual and interactive media.

Each year's concert offers audiences an opportunity to experience new artistic voices and emerging technologies in a dynamic program that reflects the breadth and innovation of contemporary musical practice.

Detailed program information will be available closer to the event date.

Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA's historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda. For parking options, please visit our Directions and Parking page.
