Cello Ensemble 2024

On Sunday, April 27th at 12pm, the UVA Cello Ensemble will present a recital in the UVA Rotunda Dome Room. This event is free and open to the public. 

The recital will feature music by Faure, Kabalevsky, Popper, Respighi, Saint-Saens, and Shostakovich.

The performers are Jacob Daniels, Paco Herrera, Rudy Lampitt, Isabelle Marsh, Lynn Park, Shruthy Rajkumar, Eliott Renenger, Aiden Rong, Hannah Russell, Emmet Townsend, Jordan Wood

The UVA Cello Ensemble is directed by Adam Carter. Cellist Adam Carter maintains an active career as a recitalist, chamber and orchestral musician, and teacher.  Dr. Carter is currently the principal cellist of the Charlottesville Symphony and has performed with the Richmond Symphony, Madison Symphony, Winston-Salem Symphony, Erie Philharmonic, and Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra.

This free recital takes place at the Dome Room of the Rotunda at the University of Virginia. Parking is available in the central grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, and along the streets by the church or in The Corner Parking Lots, the Free Trolley stop is in front of the Rotunda directly across the street from St. Paul's Church.
