Department of Music

The University of Virginia Wind Ensemble will hold its Spring 2025 concert on Monday, April 21st at 7:30 PM in the Hunter Smith Band Building. The event is free to attend and open to the public.

Further information about this event will be available on March 17th, 2025.

Conducted by the Director of Bands, Dr. Elliott Tackitt, this 50-member ensemble features the most outstanding brass, woodwind, and percussion players at the University, and rehearses and performs in the Fall and Spring Semesters. The focus of the UVA Wind Ensemble is for students to explore their artistic potential in a collaborative environment.
