This second concert in the 5-concert Series (Sept. 8-22) features Grammy Award-winning violinist James Ehnes, performing in a Beethoven Trio and Dvorak’s Bass Quintet, which also includes Philadelphia Orchestra assistant principal bassist Joseph Conyers. This concert also features two returning pianists: Ieva Jokubaviciute and Mimi Solomon.

Founded in 2000 by Charlottesville natives Raphael Bell (cello) and Timothy Summers (violin and viola), the Charlottesville Chamber Music Festival, September 8-22, 2013, invites world-class, professional musicians who give fresh reads on traditional classical works, as well as contemporary chamber works.
