The McIntire Department of Music presents the UVA Concert Band performing their spring outdoor concert. The Concert Band is made up of 85 players, and led by Assistant Directors Andrew Koch and Duane Coston. The band will be playing everything from the movie score of Star Trek, marches such as Valdres, and contemporary pieces like Early Light, as well as UVA favorite, the Good Old Song. Bring a picnic, support the bands, and enjoy the weather out in the Amphitheater!

In preparation for their Monday night performance, the Concert Band will be joining the UVA Wind Ensemble in their concert on Sunday, April 28, at 3:30pm in Old Cabell Hall.

Monday’s concert is free and open to the public, and will take place at 6:00 pm on Monday, April 30 in the Amphitheatre. The rain site will be in Old Cabell Hall at 6:30 pm.
