Come see Opera Viva's fall production, "Opera through the Ages" and experience over 15 scenes from different operas throughout history. Hear music from Gluck's "Orfeo" to Bizet's "Carmen" and see how Handel's "Giulio Cesare" eventually led to Sondheim's "Into the Woods". Come prepared to laugh and cry and have a wonderful experience!
Opera Viva is a student-run opera production company dedicated to bringing engaging, accessible, and relevant live opera to the UVa and Charlottesville communities. Opera Viva is affiliated with the McIntire Department of Music.
Tickets will be sold on the lawn 10/18-10/22 and at the door.
