Virginia Gentlemen present UVA Family Weekend Concert

The Virginia Gentlemen have been providing the University of Virginia community with fine men’s a cappella for nearly 60 years. On Saturday, October 27th, 2012, the Virginia Gentlemen will hit the stage again and perform for the University’s annual Family Weekend. For decades it has been tradition for the VGs to perform on Family Weekend and the Virginia Gentlemen always put on an incredible show. Tickets will be $7.00 for all audience members. This particular year is very exciting for the Virginia Gentlemen because of the release of their newest album, Guys in Ties. Sale of the album begins directly after the concert! Be among some of the first to hear great tracks like “Moves Like Jagger”, “One Thing”, “Barton Hollow”, “Secrets” and many more.
The Virginia Gentlemen have been busy this year performing for President Barack Obama, Governor Bob McDonnell, President Teresa Sullivan, and for the University of Virginia Board of Visitors. Just this summer, the VGs embarked on a two-week tour of China! Most excitedly of all, the VGs are preparing to celebrate their 60th anniversary this April! Of all of the many times they have sung, they are most excited to sing for you at the Family Weekend Concert. Hope to see you there!
