Performance Concentration Showcase
Celebrate the artistry and achievement of UVA's most accomplished student performers at the Performance Concentration Showcase on Sunday, April 25, 2027, at 3:30 p.m. in Old Cabell Hall. This concert is free and open to the public.
This exciting recital features student musicians selected through a competitive audition process as participants in the University of Virginia's Performance Concentration. Designed for advanced third- and fourth-year Music majors, the concentration provides exceptional performers with focused opportunities to develop their artistry, stage presence, and musical communication.
Through specialized seminars and close collaboration with expert faculty mentors, students in the Performance Concentration refine their performance skills while preparing for the demands of professional-level music making. The Showcase represents the culmination of their dedication, creativity, and growth as musicians.
Audiences are invited to experience a diverse program of solo and ensemble performances that highlights the remarkable talent and commitment of UVA's emerging performers.
