Charlottesville Symphony at the University of Virginia
The Charlottesville Symphony at the University of Virginia is comprised of music faculty who serve as Principal Players and talented students and community members. Each season the orchestra performs five pairs of masterworks concerts, two Youth Concerts for area fourth and fifth graders and two popular Family Holiday Concerts in partnership with the University Singers. Beloved works from the symphonic repertoire, new discoveries, commissioned premieres and an array of guest artists attract enthusiastic audiences from all over Central Virginia.
