Tea Time Recitals Fall 2024
The UVA Department of Music invites the Charlottesville and University communities to the Tea Time Student Recitals on Thursday, December 5th, and Friday, December 6th, 2024 in Old Cabell Hall. Talented UVA students present a varied menu of musical delights. Come, bring your friends, and enjoy the fruits of a semester's worth of musical training and practice. These events are free and open to the public.
The students will perform works by Mendelssohn, Smetana, Arensky, Villa-Lobos, Saint-Saëns, Rachmaninoff, Wolf, Beethoven, Chopin, Jospé.
The performers at the fall tea time recitals include: Members of the Performance Concentration, Learn to Groove, UVA Percussion Ensemble, Clarinet Ensemble, Oboe Trio, Trombone Ensemble, Rotunda Bassoon Ensemble, and many more talented musicians!
Old Cabell Hall is located on the south end of UVA’s historic lawn, directly opposite the Rotunda (map). Parking is available in the central grounds parking garage on Emmet Street, in the C1 parking lot off McCormick Rd, and in the parking lots at the UVA Corner. Handicap parking is available in the small parking lot adjacent to Bryan Hall.
