The University of Virginia Department of Music presents Technologies of Silence: a colloquium hosted by the Sound Justice Lab and co-sponsored by the Department of Music on Thursday, September 19th, and Friday, September 20th. This event is free and open to the public.

Technologies of Silence is a multidisciplinary conference that explores the law's technologies and tactics that try to silence stories, individuals, and groups.
